The first gift of the Holy Spirit is wisdom. But it is not merely human wisdom, which is the fruit of knowledge and experience. The Bible tells us that Solomon, at the time of his coronation as king of Israel, had asked the gift of wisdom (cf. 1 Kings 3.9). And wisdom is this: it is the grace of being able to see everything through the eyes of God. It 'simply this: you see the world, see situations, economic trends, problems, everything, with the eyes of God. This is wisdom. Sometimes we see things according to our pleasure, or according to the situation of our heart, with love or hatred, with envy ... No, this is not the eye of God. Wisdom is what the Holy Spirit in us so we see all things with the eyes of God. 'This is the gift of wisdom.
And of course this comes from intimacy with God, from the intimate relationship that we have with God, the ratio of children with the Father. And the Holy Spirit, when we have this report, gives us the gift of wisdom. And this is not learned: this is a gift of the Holy Spirit.
