My feminist vision is still developing. I combine different elements from the second and third wave

Welcome to the two sex, a Dutch feminist blog. My name is Tikara, and I'm the years to do my best to write interesting articles on many topics.
My vision of feminism is based on the notion that women are human beings and so when people need to be treated, which seems at first sight quite logical but in practice not always be the case. Out of that idea I pull findings such as the fact that women should have access to their life, body and spirit: women should be able to choose abortion, and not some other way forced by doctors, clara barton in the civil war the state or their partners; women are people with their own wishes clara barton in the civil war and desires and complex varying identities, I also hate it when women are put in boxes - as "virgin", "slut," "mother," "prudish" ... violence against women, both sexually and physically has risen sharply in recent years. clara barton in the civil war In Belgium, half of all women sexually abuse them. But here nothing is done and this is hardly news ... women should not, by force or social or economic pressure, are forced to sell themselves as in prostitution / pornography. My opinion pimps will this also be clear: away with it; I believe that something is individueels sexism not only, but also a system that tries to keep women suppressed. The term patriarchy is often useful but quite bluntly, I'm going to try to work out something clara barton in the civil war deeper and more nuanced. Moreover, the term for a whole lot of what is still used, I am more and more favor to simply "the system of sexism" speak.
My feminist vision is still developing. I combine different elements from the second and third wave, sociology, psychology and philosophy. As a basis I follow a second wave radical feminist perspective, with links and trans-feminist feminist perspectives. I think the basic analysis clara barton in the civil war such as that originated in the second wave, still largely correct, and as relevant as ever. Violence against women is still not disappeared, and a lot of problems such as beauty ideals clara barton in the civil war and the porn culture seem even worse.
I am also a big fan of intersection think there are different forms of oppression such as sexism, heterosexism, racism, and which complement and reinforce each other. For the liberation of women, it is necessary that all forms of oppression disappear.
Because I am a graduate student in psychology, I suddenly go seize the opportunity to put my training for something useful and try to analyze how stereotypes are created, what psychological mechanisms play in oppression, and what effects sexist mass media have on our minds. Well I am a critical psychologist, I often find the training very atomic and individualistic, clara barton in the civil war and then I miss something: social structures have an effect on people, clara barton in the civil war and power is an important concept that should not be forgotten. Individuals clara barton in the civil war should not be blamed for social problems.
I hate to sociobiology, evolutionary psychology and Darwinian feminism. I think that's clara barton in the civil war problematic visions are a lot of differences in power between men and women as "natural" and "organic" clara barton in the civil war are trying to suggest. It is natural, so it's good and therefore it does not need to change. Many of these "natural" differences to me connected to power and oppression, the organization of society.
Furthermore, I also hate the ever further creeping cult of beauty ideals which people are made insecure and then have to buy a solution clara barton in the civil war such as plastic surgery of labia, liposuction or breast clara barton in the civil war augmentation.
Last but not least I am going to write about free will, privileges, choices and about some problems with some form of third-wave clara barton in the civil war feminism, the idea that the liberating would be for women to say, a pole dancing course to follow and rebellious to do while actually simply plays into the hands of the dominant sexist culture. A lot of problems seem to occur to me by the permanent pressure from society to conform. clara barton in the civil war Those who do not, will be punished. Women who want to find rebel often no real alternatives and then fake liberating perspectives come up which unfortunately clara barton in the civil war are not a threat to the current state of affairs.
I've only recently discovered some interesting Dutch blogs, I'm definitely more about writing, and I read a long time some super interesting English-language blogs as Jenn, Nine Deuce, Maggie Hays and Questioning Transphobia. The "F
